We saved Nine Lives!

Who knew that while educating the participacipants about creating a successful strategic plan for 2011, the Dunwoody Chamber of Commerce seminar would save lives, too!  Hosted at LifeSouth, a Chamber Member company, those that stayed to give blood truly made a valuable gift.  Thanks to Joan Shumaker, Education Co-Chair, for arranging an informative morning, with the help of Guest Speaker, Bob Thiel, UGA Small Business Development Center and Matilda Richardson, of LifeSouth.  The Chamber is grateful to sponsors, Whalen Kuller of Kuller Law Group, and Russ Frederick of Laney, Boteler & Killinger, CPAs.

Celebrations and Ribbon Cuttings continue in Dunwoody.
The Atlanta School of Massage celebrated its 30th Anniversary with a re-dedication Ribbon Cutting.  City Councilman John Heneghan joined in the celebration with School Founder, Leticia Allen and Edie Morton.  Also pictured are School students and staff celebrating the milestone anniversary.

Eric Schuetz, owner of Regency Home Care of North Atlanta was assisted at their ribbon cutting by City Councilman Doug Thompson.  Also pictured are Lou Ann Gregory and Michele Poncier of Regency Home Care and from the Chamber Bill Grant, Board Chair and Debbie Fuse.

Tilted Kilt's Ribbon Cutting was also the kick-off of their Christmas toy collection.  Debbie Fuse, of the Dunwoody Chamber dropped some gifts in their collection box.  Later in the evening, Chamber Board Member Brian Tate (center, left) helped cut the ribbon on the newly remodeled restaurant at the corner of Mt. Vernon and Abernathy.  Stop in to see what's new!
