Dunwoody Chamber of Commerce Soap Box Derby Car takes 5th place

Saturday’s Soap Box Derby was a rousing success. Congratulations to Addie Alberghini, Race Director and Brent Morris, Assistant Race Director, on an outstanding day. Brent is a member of the Chamber’s Board of Directors.

The Chamber’s car, piloted by Cameron Siggelkow, age 10, came in 5^th in a field of 29 cars. Cameron is the grandson of Barbara and David Lee of Heaven'Lee Balloon Creations.

The brilliant sunshine brought out over 1500 people to cheer the drivers on. As one spectator said, “The event was awesome for the kids. It teaches the importance of community as well as sportsmanship – and all the while, they are having fun!”
